Sit down. Find the notes.
Real keys under small hands, first songs by the end of the week. No pressure to be good yet.
A little studio on Montague Street where kids make things, from the team behind Gifted and Talented Kids.
Afternoon classes for ages 3 to 12, a block off the promenade in Brooklyn Heights. Classes run about an hour, a couple of weekday afternoons a week, with piano and art to start. More classes open up over the summer.
We're starting with the two things kids ask to do over and over. Make music and make a mess with paint. We'll open the other rooms as the summer rolls on.

Drawing and painting, plus the good kind of mess. Led by people who love the work.
Small groups and real materials, with plenty of room to try things. We pay attention to what lights a child up.

Coming this summer
The studio sits right on Montague Street, where the afternoon light comes through tall windows. There's a piano in one corner, paint in another, and tables low enough for small people to feel at home.
It's calm and clean. Mostly it's set up so kids can get to work the minute they walk in.
Groups stay small, so every child gets real attention from a grown-up who's watching out for them. It's run by the same team behind Gifted and Talented Kids.
From the team behind Gifted and Talented KidsNo long forms, no commitment maze. Pick what your kid wants to try, choose a time, and we'll hold the spot.
Piano or art to start. Tell us what your child has been curious about lately.
Weekday afternoons, grouped by age. Younger kids come earlier, older kids a little later.
Send a note and we'll get back to you to lock in the time. That's it.
A preview of how the afternoon is grouped by age. We'll email your child's confirmed time when you sign up, before classes start Monday, June 29.
We're here to catch the moment a kid surprises themselves.
Some children hear a song once and want to play it. Some can't stop drawing on the back of the menu. Different kids, different sparks. We give them the room, the materials, and someone who actually notices.
Summer is the right time for it. No grades, nothing to rush toward. Just a few good hours a week to find the thing they didn't know they loved.
Tell us a little about your child and what they'd like to try. We'll get back to you to set up an afternoon. A real person reads every note.
