What we make

Two classes to start, more this summer.

We're opening with the two things kids never get tired of: making music and making a mess with paint. The rest of the lineup lands later this summer.

Music

Piano

Real keys under real fingers, with a teacher who keeps it fun. The little ones learn by ear and play. Older kids start reading notes and pick songs they actually want to learn.

Art

Drawing & Painting

Big paper, fat brushes, no fear of the blank page. Kids mix their own colors and figure out what a brush can do. Every week they take home something they made.

Chess

Think two moves ahead and have a blast doing it.

Coming this summer

Clay & Ceramics

Get both hands in the clay and build something real.

Coming this summer

Theater & Storytelling

Make up a whole world, then put it on a tiny stage.

Coming this summer

Coding & STEM

Build something that blinks, then make it roll across the floor.

The space

A sunny room on Montague Street.

Our summer home sits at 141 Montague Street, right on the main street of Brooklyn Heights. Big windows let the brownstone light in, and there's plenty of floor to spread out and get a little messy.

It's run by the team behind Gifted and Talented Kids, our Greenpoint preschool. Same teachers, same care, now with a summer of music and art.

  • Steps from the brownstones, easy to reach after school.
  • Small groups so every kid gets real attention.
  • Teachers who actually like hanging out with kids.

Why we do this

Every kid is good at something.

Some kids hum before they talk. Some draw on every wall they can reach. Summer is the time to find that spark and feed it.

We don't believe in one right way to be smart. A kid who builds towers thinks differently from one who tells stories, and both belong in the room. Our job is simple: hand them the keys and the brushes, then get out of the way and see what an afternoon turns into.

Save your kid a spot

Let's hold a place for summer.

Spots are limited because the groups stay small. Send the form or reach us directly. We'll follow up with the details that fit your family.
