The Classes
Two classes to start, more on the way.
We're opening with the two classes kids come back to all summer: piano and painting. Small afternoon groups, sorted by age, with teachers who like the work and like kids.
Class No. 02
Art · Drawing & Painting
Brushes, pastels, big paper, and no wrong answers. Kids draw what they see and paint what they feel, then take home something they made with their own hands.

A bright room on the best block in the Heights.
Montague Street is the kind of street kids can walk to after a day in the park. Our new room catches that brownstone light all afternoon, with a real piano against one wall and an art table you are allowed to get messy.
It's the same team you know from Gifted and Talented Kids, our preschool, opening a second room for the summer. Same people, same standard, a new space set up for these classes.
Bring the curiosity. We'll bring the piano and the paint.
How it works
Three small steps, then we do the rest.
No app, no long forms. Tell us what your kid wants to try, pick an afternoon, and we get back to you ourselves.

Pick a class
Start with piano or painting. If your kid can't decide, no problem. We'll talk it through on the phone.

Choose an afternoon slot
Slots run by age, younger ones earlier and older ones later, so the room always fits the group.

Reserve a spot
Send us the form or give us a call. We hold the place and follow up with everything you need.

Classes run weekday afternoons, Monday through Friday, starting Monday, June 29. These times just show the shape of an afternoon. We pick your real slot together when you reserve.
Our spirit
Summer is for finding the spark.
Some kids hear a melody once and hum it for a week. Some can sit with a sheet of paper and a box of pastels and forget the time.
We think every child is gifted at something. The trick is giving them a few quiet afternoons and the right materials, then watching to see what they reach for. A summer is long enough to try, and short enough that it never feels like school.
We keep the groups small and the pressure low. Some kids leave loving the piano. Some leave covered in paint. Both count as a good summer to us.
